LIVE! From the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland!
3/16/09
3/16/09
The WWE opening video plays for the crowd and the people watching on television all around the world, then suddenly the fireworks go off and the WWE Raw theme begins to play throughout the sold out 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland!. The camera searches through the jam packed crowd as they cheer. Finally flames ignite the stage as the lights come on. We are then taken over to the broadcast table with Jim Ross and Jerry “the King” Lawler, where they introduce the viewers to the very first episode of Monday Night Raw! The Raw theme dies down as the show is about to begin.
JR: We are live! Live right here in the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. Hello everybody, this is Jim Ross alongside Jerry “the King” Lawler and tonight we have the big one.
King: That’s right JR! Raven vs. The Roy with Miss Kammy as the special referee, that’s going to be great!
JR: Also tonight we will crown two new champions; The Intercontinental Champion and a new Television Champion! Let’s get the show started.
vs.vs.vs.
Tazz vs. Chris Jericho vs. Donal McQuillan vs. John Morrison
(Television Championship: Fatal Four Way)
Before any of the four competitors have a chance to make their way out to the ring, a familiar voice echoes through the arena...
"Hey yo..."
Rick Ross's remix of "Push It To The Limit" blares through the arena, as the charismatic Bad Guy slowly walks through the curtain. With one hand out in front and the other behind him, Scott Hall struts out onto the stage... Some fans cheer him, but the majority of them boo him. With his hair slicked back, one strand dangles between his eyes. The Bad Guy slowly makes his way down the ramp, pretending to be scared of the booing fans who scream and yell at him, but to him... They're nothing at all. Scott passes by the ring and heads straight to the commentators table. He takes a headset and makes a seat for himself alongside Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler...

They're nothing at all. Scott passes by the ring and heads straight to the commentators table. He takes a headset and makes a seat for himself alongside Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler...
King: Well, what do ya' know JR, we've got the Bad Guy with us here to commentate!
Hall: That's right, chico. This is the voice the people want to hear, mang. Not you two...
JR: Well, Scott Hall... Just why are you out here...
Hall: Jim Ross... How 'bout you listen, chico, and find out?
“Break the Walls Down” blazes through the arena, sending the fans crazy with boos, mild support, or lack thereof, for the cocky Canadian man who now makes his way down the ramp. Jericho walks towards the ring, a glorified smirk wiped across his face as the fans chant degrading comments at him. He stops at the end, and looks around at them, getting in the face of one and yelling “I’m better than you!” Jericho climbs up the stairs and enters the ring. He stares at the entrance, anticipating for his opponent to make his way down the ramp.
“If You Dare” then plays as Tazz gets a little pop as he makes his way out on the stage. He has a towel wrapped over his head as he walks down the ramp frantically. He climbs up the steps and into the ring, and crosses his arms as he watches Jericho closely.
“Home” By Daughtry plays. Tazz and Jericho gaze at the entrance way as the up and coming Donal McQuillan makes his way down the ramp.
JR: Ladies and gentlemen, this young man gives it his all week in and week out, and here tonight he gets a chance at gold. Can this young man accomplish what he's been trying to accomplish all his life?
Hall: You want my opinion? This kid don't stand a chance, mang... Have you seen him before?
JR: Where do you get off judging Donal McQuillan, Scott Hall?
Hall: Where do I get off judging him? Haha! Listen up, JR... The Bad Guy can judge whoever he wants when he wants... And because Donal thinks he's a tough guy... I'm gonna judge him, chico. He 'tried' to stand up to the Bad Guy... But it didn't work. So you know, I told him to prove himself out here tonight. And maybe... Just maybe he'd get a chance to fight me, mang.
JR: Like anyone would want that...
He runs down, slapping hands with fans. He slides under the ropes and points at the fans, then motions that the title will come home to him, sooner or later. Donal stands on the turnbuckle and points out to the fans, much to their pleasure.
Hall: Look at him... Giving the crowd everything they want... Pathetic, mang... Pathetic.
“Ain’t No Make Believe” plays as John Morrison makes his way onto the stage, and poses as the camera turns to slow motion and the wind blows back his hair. He smiles and walks down the ramp showing off his abs to the crowd as he slides into the ring. He goes to the center of the ring and poses once again as we await the ring announcer.
Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the fatal four-way match and it is for the Television Championship!
"Ding Ding Ding!"
Each man stands in an opposing corner, looking around at one another. Morrison is the first to make a move. He confidently struts to the center of the ring with an angry look on his face. The smaller men look at him, anticipating what may come next. Morrison turns his head to Jericho and charges to his corner. Jericho gets smashed between the metal pole and Morrison’s massive body. The other two men run from their respective corners and pounce onto Morrison. He shoves them away as if they were flies. Morrison turns away from Jericho, looking at the other two men. Jericho hops up onto the top rope and waits for a clear shot. Morrison grabs Donal by his skull and head butts him. Donal falls to the ground holding his head.
Hall: Look at that... He's done already.
JR: I bed to differ. Donal McQuillan has a lot of fight in him!
Hall: Whatever you say, chico...
Tazz delivers a shining wizard to a surprised Morrison. Morrison falls to his knees, still facing away from the turnbuckle. Jericho off with a cross body to the back of a half grounded Morrison. Morrison’s upper body is crushed into the mat. Jericho stands up celebrating too soon. Tazz nails him with a Russian leg sweep and goes for a pin on Morrison.
1………………2………….
Donal breaks up the count with a clubbing forearm to Tazz’s back. Donal helps Tazz to his feet, only to knock him back down with a snap suplex. Morrison starts to get back up. Noticing this, Donal grabs the man’s arm and falls back, locking in an arm bar.
Hall: 'Bout time this jabroni got a move in...
Jericho seeing the pain Morrison is in crawls over to him. He grabs Morrison’s other arm also locking in a second arm bar. Morrison now unable to tap out and screams in pain. Tazz measures up the three men, climbs to the top rope, and yells something to the guys below. Jericho and Donal scatter away. Tazz hit’s a frog splash onto the damaged Morrison. He tried to grab a quick pin.
1……………….2………………
Jericho grabs Tazz’s left leg and Donal grabs his right. They fling him off quickly. Tazz stands up and gets into the face of both men. He hops into the air and grabs their heads under his arms. He falls backwards resulting in double DDT. Morrison rolls over onto his stomach, trying to allow the blood flow to go back to his arms. Tazz tried picking the man up, but Morrison just shoves him off. Morrison gets back up to his feet and runs after Tazz. Tazz drops down with the top rope in his hand. Morrison hit’s the low ropes and flips over them to the outside of the ring. The pain from landing on his arm causes him to be grounded for a long time. By now both Jericho and Donal are stirring. Tazz rolls up Jericho with a small package.
1…………..2………………
Jericho kicks out quickly. Donal is completely up and runs at Tazz as he begins to rise from a failed pin fall. He clotheslines him knocking him to the ground. Jericho stands up and meets the same fait. Donal picks up Tazz and tosses his against the ropes. Tazz flips completely over Donal and rolls him up.
1………………..2…………………
Hall: That's it!
Donal kicks out and looks stunned. Tazz stands up while Donal remains sitting up. Tazz kicks Donal in the back, then in the chest. The blow to the chest knocks Donal to the mat. Tazz notices both Morrison and Jericho getting up. He picks up Jericho into a last call position. He then stands with his back to where Morrison stands out side of the ring. He proceeds to flip Jericho outside of the ring. Morrison puts up his hands to try and black the body of Jericho, however both men fall at a fast, painful speed. Donal slowly gets up with Tazz watching from a few feet away. Once full to his feet, Tazz kicks him in the gut. Tazz gets the Tazzmission locked in!! Donal is caught…wait a minute! Morrison gets Tazz in a roll up from behind! Donal falls back as well!!
…………..2………………3!!!
"DING DING DING!"
Lillian Garcia: Here is your winner, and the NEW TELEVISION CHAMPION, JOHN MORRISON!!!
Hall: I knew Donal wasn't good enough... They just never learn, do they?
As Donal McQuillan comes to his senses on the outside of the ring that he just lost, Scott Hall removes his headset. He slowly walks around the ring to Donal, his hands placed in his pockets. Donal looks up, disappointment gleaming in his eyes. He stares right at Hall who simply says nothing. Hall looks down at Donal, shamefully shaking his head at him. Hall wastes no further time and heads to the back.[/center]
We come back from commercial to the view of Johnny Magnum in the back… sitting in his locker room. A bandage is strapped across his forehead, due to Raven. His eye is blackened, as well. He picks up his gear bag and unzips it. He begins unbuttoning his white shirt, when The Roy enters the room, much to a huge pop from the fans in Baltimore.
Roy: Johnny… you can’t compete tonight. Just don’t tonight, ok? I’ll take care of Raven…
With a sigh, Magnum gives his reply.
Johnny: Alright… but I need some time alone… you should go get ready anyway.
Roy nods, and then exits the locker room. Magnum buttons back up the button he previously unbuttoned and gets up out of his seat with slight strain. The door opens again and Johnny looks up. His face darkens as the camera sees who this man is, Justin Tyger.
Justin: Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. I must say, I was quite impressed with your win two weeks ago, but last week?? Are you serious?? You lost to Scott?? And I was contemplating you possibly being able to beat me… Boy was I wrong… You’re haven’t changed one bit, Johnny. You are still the same, untalented little boy you were back in Saturday Night’s-…
Johnny: SHUT THE HELL UP! Ok? Just shut up. What have you done in the past two years, Tyger? What have you done to prove that you’re still the man you were? Beat up on some jobbers? One of them being myself. Win a title that meant so much to me, yet so little to you? Make up your mind, man. Is it retirement or not? Huh?
Justin: … And I see your just as disrespectful as you were back then too. Johnny, you know what… I’ve noticed you’re out to “prove yourself”… well Johnny, I’m a man of truth… I don’t lie. I call it like I see it and you?? You suck, kid…
Johnny sits up out of his chair.
Johnny: What did you just say?
Tyger begins to talk but Johnny doesn’t let him.
Johnny: No, no, no… Justin Tyger I’m not going to let you walk into any company that you want and trash talk me. I’m not going to let you walk in here and tell me, after all I’ve been through, that I suck, o I am disrespectful… maybe if you showed me half the respect I showed you upon our first meeting, then maybe I wouldn’t come off as so damn disrespectful….
Justin: Joh-…
Johnny: I WASN’T FINISHED YET, BUDDY. You want to say that I suck? Well you’re going to pay the consequences!! Johnny Magnum vs. Justin Tyger… tonight!!
Justin: You gonna disobey your boyfriend, huh? Gonna go against his saying? Haha, I didn’t know you had the balls to do that, kid…
The door opens once more, and in walks Stephanie McMahon.
Steph: I was walking by and I just happened to overhear your little pow wow… I’m sorry Johnny, but you are in no condition to compete tonight, but hear me out. Wrestlemania is less than a month away and we still have yet to have a match announced… and what a better way to settle this, than on the grandest stage of them all, right? So as of right now, Johnny Magnum you have your match with Justin Tyger! Oh, and Justin… you have a match to get ready for…
Stephanie walks out of the room, leaving Tyger and Justin alone. Justin stares at Johnny, smirks painted on both of their arrogant faces… Tyger offers his hand and Johnny goes into shake it, but Tyger pulls it away at the last second… Magnum stares at Tyger as he exits the room.
Roy: Johnny… you can’t compete tonight. Just don’t tonight, ok? I’ll take care of Raven…

Backstage we see The Roy walking out of his locker room heading towards the arena. Just minutes away from his main event match with Raven, he shows no hesitance. As the camera man follows in front of The Roy, Todd Grisham comes running from around the corner with a microphone. He catches up with The Roy and begins to speak while panting.
Todd: Roy...ROY! You're just minutes away from confronting the legendary Raven, with his wife in his corner. No one has gotten any word from you since you've arrived in the building and fans agree that it's just not like the Kopy Kat Killer to keep quiet. Isn't there something, anything you want to say about your opponent tonight??
The Roy stops walking, leaving Todd to stare into his eyes. The Roy looks to Todd and adjusts politely takes the microphone from his hands. He looks at Todd seemingly confused as he starts to talk.
The Roy: What would you like me to say? That I'm going to go out there and give it me all? That Raven is leagues below me? That no one or nothing will stand between me and the World Heavyweight Championship? I could say all that. On any other match of any other night I probably would. But I said everything that I had to say about Raven the last time he and I were supposed to face. I left nothing in the air, so no I don't have anything to say Todd. Let's just hope he shows up this time, ok?
The Roy hands the microphone back to Todd Grisham, before walking the rest of the way down the hall. The WWE logo hits the corner of the screen to signal we are about to take a commercial break before the big fight.

Blood begins to pour as all hope is lost. Roy barely gets up before Raven tucks Roy’s head between his arm pit this time and gets a smirk on his face… but it is turned to a face of anger as the crowd erupts and Kammy screams. Raven drops Roy and turns around, only to run into a Lariat!!!! Johnny Magnum has interfered! Kammy calls for the bell, but it doesn’t matter at this point.
