The scene opens up inside a vehicle where Jeffery Porter, a local reporter for NYBC in New York City, is on his way to Casey’s mansion. He's dressed in a black pin striped suit, cream dress shirt, black tie with crème designs on it, and black dress shoes. The rest of the crew for the interview sit in the back wearing blue jeans and t-shirts with many different logos and sayings including the Nike swoosh Silvertab, and Acroma. Jeffery turns toward the crew and smiles.
Jeffery: This is great. Casey James has been in this business for a year or so now and I've been trying to get an interview ever since her debut.
Crew member 1: I don't think it's her career you're after in this interview.
Jeffery: (scoffs) Of course it is.
Crew member 2: (sarcastically) Yeah and the fact that she comes from upper class and has chosen to let that all go and be a wrestler means nothing to you.
Jeffery: Well that is an interesting fact, but most people only know her as a wrestler and not that she came from wealth.
Crew member 1: What about the rumor that she's writing a book about her life?
Jeffery: How do you know all this about her?
Crew member 1: Come on Jeff. Haven't you seen her?
Crew member 3: Yeah. She's a local star... fine... plus she's got more wealth than I'd be able to spend in a year.
Crew member 1: I can agree with that, plus she's got a really great website to help keep her followers up to date... I'd love to have my name on it.
Crew member 4: You all can forget it. If you remember correctly, Casey was married to that guy in those movies... what was his name?
Crew member 2: That was Trevor Jaye, but if you've followed her better...after his movie deal closed those two went their own ways to continue their careers and eventually got a divorce. It's said they're still friends, but now that’s all they’ll ever be.
Jeffery: Hold on guys. Let me get all this information down. It might be helpful in the interview.
Jeffery pulls a little notebook from the inside pocket of his suit and begins writing things down.
Jeffery: So you guys are saying that she was married, then got a divorce from some actor?
Crew members: Yeah.
Jeffery continues to write things down as he asks questions.
Jeffery: What did you say his name was?
Crew member 3: Geesh Jeff. You finally get the interview you've wanted and know nothing about her. His name was Trevor Jaye.
Crew member 1: Now she's with Mike Massacre.
Crew member 2: I'd say about like Casey. Unless you grew up in or live in New York, you really don't know much about Casey before her training.
Jeffery: Alright, here's what we're going to do. Anytime she goes to get something, turns her head away from me, and so on you three give me more information on her. I can read lips, so just say it slow and I'll get it.
Jeffery puts his notebook away as the vehicle comes to a stop outside Casey’s mansion. The crew and Jeffery get out of the vehicle and set up for the opening of the interview.
The scene comes back with a shot of Casey’s small Victorian style mansion. It's hard to make out as the usual eerie fog surrounds the property and the bars of the huge iron gates make the shot look as if it's from some jail cell or a house in one of those troubled neighborhoods. Suddenly, the well known face of Jeffery Porter steps in front of the iron gates and smiles.
Jeffery: Hello again. Tonight we bring you a very special interview with a local hero. Most of you probably recognize the mansion behind me. Tonight we interview none other than Casey James, better known the wrestling diva that has taken the wrestling world by storm, and given New York another famous face. I've had a lot of requests to interview her... find out whom she is and some have asked if she can survive in WWE. Well tonight we answer all that and more. Let's go in.
Jeffery enters the mansion to find Casey James sitting on her sofa, prepared for the interview. He walks over to her and introduces himself, taking a seat across from her. The camera men set up microphones to their tops as they prepare to go live on television. Everyone backs away from the shot as the camera man begins the count down. 3….2….1…
Jeffery: I’m here with the very talented Casey James as she prepared herself for the upcoming Women’s Championship Battle Royal Match at Wrestlemania this Sunday. Casey, how do you think you will do this Sunday?
Casey: These odds were made to be broken. Many divas will step into the ring this Sunday and all with one goal in mind; to become the WWE Women’s Champion. A battle royal is one of the hardest matches to win, but I will make a vow that at Wrestlemania, I will hold my first Women’s Title in history. The other divas cannot compare with what I have to offer, and the fans will get to see that first hand.
Jeffery: If you mind me asking, could you tell me a little bit about your ex-husband, Trevor Jaye?
Casey: That sleaze bag? He was the worst mistake of my life. When I began training to wrestle, he went his own way and showed no support. I should have really thought about marriage first before stepping into it. But that’s being the point of the interview, why would you ask me about him?
Jeffery’s face draws a blank
Jeffery: I..uh..I apologize; I didn’t realize it was a touchy subject. I’ll go back to this Sunday, if that’s alright. This will be the first match you partake in being live on pay-per-view; do you feel that could be a possible distraction from obtaining your goal in winning the Women’s Championship?
Casey: Not at all. I have my eyes set on that title, and nothing will stop me or get in my way. This match contains some of the most immense talent, but there comes a time when they’re all over their heads. There’s no stopping me this time; it’s my night to shine. I’ll take the pain like it was meant for me; I just hope they can take it twice as much as giving it. I’ve been working my ass off to get this shot at that title, and none of these divas will be a problem for me. I will work my ass off to do what I have to do. If I fall down, I will get right back up. If I become too weak, I will force myself to push my energy back up. Come this Sunday, I will stop at nothing to defeat every WWE diva. That belt will be mine, and Melina, you will just be another former champion to add to the list.
Jeffery: I believe Melina has a recent injury that may keep her out of the match, but there are other talented competition, such as Maria, Amy Weber, and Lintu Ciel. How do you feel about them as competition?
Casey: Maria, you’re a nobody, and you always will be a nobody. You lost your match to the Beautiful People two weeks ago, and that was all we’ve seen from you recently. You don’t even know how to wrestle, do you? I’ve spent a long time training to reach where I’m at today, and no “bubbly” diva is going to take that chance away of becoming Women’s Champion! Amy Weber, there are no men in this match, so how do you plan on getting lucky in this match? Face it girl, you’re a complete tramp and you will never amount to anything here. Lintu Ciel, you competed on the first show for the Women’s Championship and lost, so why should I even consider you competition? If I had a chance at the title, which I do, I would work my ass off to make sure I walk out the victor. You obviously don’t care that much for the championship if you can’t fight your all in the match. So far, I’m undefeated here in WWE since I won my Bra and Panties match a few weeks ago. I beat all of you then, and I will beat all of you now. Basically what I’m trying to say is, you cannot break something that is perfection.
Casey stands up and walks away, leaving Jeffery alone on the sofa. He looks towards the camera and speaks
Jeffery: Ladies and gentlemen, I am Jeffery Porter, channel 5 news.
