The smoke from the opening pyrotechnics show fades and drifts across the arena. The WWE fans sound like a swarm of locusts or bees that echoes from the floor to the rafters. The sound is overbearing and powerful but at the same time it is tranquil. The fans eagerly await for the a bell to ring or music to play. Each WWE fan in the arena asks themselves the same question, "Who's first?"
Suddenly, a powerful rumble of noise blasts from the speakers as the fans jump to their feet. The first note is the most recognizable note in all of sports-entertainment. The first line is the most memorized in all of the world. "No Chance, that's what you've got." Mr. McMahon then proudly emerges from the curtains and proceeds to power-walk to the ring. Fans bend over and genuflect over and over as the Chairman of the Board stomps his legs heavily on each step into the ring. Once inside the ring, a ringside assistant hands Mr. McMahon a microphone and with a smile on his face, Vince prepares to address the masses.

Vince: Tonight, six of our top superstars will do battle in this very ring! Also tonight, as promised to Johnny Magnum, he will receive a...very...special championship celebration. But we can congratulate our new champion later. Right now, let's get down to business. As most of you know, my son Shane has duties that extend beyond Monday Night RAW all the way back to headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. And I'm DAMN PROUD OF HIM!!!
Vince pauses as the fans react with boos and cheers to his words
Vince: But the fact is, as good as Shane is it has job, I don't want any more pressure being put on him in running the show. He has a very respected position in the corporation and I have requested that he take time off the road to stay back in Connecticut and keep an eye on corporate matters. And in the interest of fairness to my daughter, the General Manager of Monday Night RAW, Stephanie McMahon, I have been searching for a person that would take over some of Shane's duties on the show. This way, my beautiful daughter won't have any additional trouble running the flagship program of this company.
I know what most of you are wondering...
Mr. McMahon circles the ring and points at the fans in each direction. He laughs away from the microphone and then speaks again.[/b]
Of course! You all want to know who I found to replace my son?!? Well, the fact is there is no replacement! I couldn't find one. Nothing can replace a McMahon, a product of my...
Before Mr. McMahon can finish his sentence, "Almost Easy" hits the PA system and the crowd erupts in confusion and excitement as to why "The Irish Innovator" would pick this moment to interrupt the Chairman of the Board. Shane Whelan emerges from the curtains, dressed semi-formally with a black shirt, red tie, and slacks. His hair shines and his designer shades reflect against the arena lights. With a microphone in hand, Whelan speaks as the music and the screaming fades.
Whelan: I know, I know what you were going to say next. You were going to say that you were going to have to fill the position yourself and become a co-general manager with your daughter. I know how this goes. Vince, you love power and I can see why you would do that. You want back in the show. You want to mix it up with guys like me and get dirty again. You miss those days and I don't blame you...I don't blame you because I'm having the time of my life.
Vince: JUST WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!? You want to come out here and interrupt me? Do you have any idea who in the hell I am? I'm the guy that gives you your lunch money so you can go out there and buy your fancy beach resorts and party endlessly everynight. I am YOUR boss and you better tell me the real reason you're out here fast before I lose my patience.
Shane smiles and removes his shades.
Whelan: I'm here to help.
Vince: What do you mean? What do you mean you're here to help?
...
Vince: Answer me damn it!
Whelan: You know you need me. You know that I'm a very respected competitor on this show and that's exactly what you need. You need someone to keep order. You need someone with the muscle to back up Stephanie and her decisions. You need to protect your investments. You need someone who's not afraid to get dirty like your son was. Let's face it, as much as you're the boss around here, you don't have that one and one contact with the guys back there a lot. You can't always be here to interact and why put the extra stress on yourself?
Vince: So you want a job? You want to be the new Shane?
...
Whelan: Well, you see, I go through what I like to call "phases." I'm not always exactly..."myself." Sometimes...sometimes I'm Shane Whelan. Other times I'm The Irish Innovator. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I don't want to be your son. I'm not going to mimic him in the least bit. I'm going to work off instinct, self-interest, and emotion. Your son Shane had to act in the interest of the company. And while that sounds like the right idea, I think his position here wasn't as important as what I can offer. As an active competitor and a man with special duties directly assigned by the general manager, I can do more than your son ever could. I can intimidate. I can get things done...maybe not exactly how the company wants it done but that's why you give the job to me and not someone like your son. If Shane-O-Mac were to do something questionable, it could ruin your image. But me? What do you care about me? I'm just an active competitor with some...privileges, as I like to call it.
Vince: As much as you're a cocky S.O.B. I think you're a real smart guy and I think you're pulling a fast one on me...or you plan to. I don't know what your motivation is or is going to be but you're right about one thing. You indeed are one of the most respected competitors in this business today and you proved that by beating Triple H and Matt Sydal in the past few weeks. For now, I think I've come to a decision. I am going to offer you that position but I'm not going to offer it because I can't do it myself. I want to see what you're all about. The great "Insane" Shane Whelan wants to make a name for himself, huh? Well here's your best chance. I'll have Stephanie meet with you next week and explain everything that will be asked of you. But don't walk away just yet!!!
...
I'm not sure what you're up to but I can assure you that if you do anything to cross us McMahons...you will be FIRED!!!!!
Whelan: Mr. McMahon, thank you.
Mr. McMahon's theme blasts through the arena again as Whelan backs up off the stage. Mr. McMahon stares at him intensively still pondering whether or not he has made a wise decision.[/b][/center]

Stephanie McMahon walks down the ramp and into the ring. Standing there we already see The Brian Kendrick and Jarrod Davis. In the middle of the ring on a geek style podium is the WWE Television Championship. Stephanie notices both men unable to take their eyes off of the prize, and begins speaking immediately.
Stephanie McMahon: Last week at Backlash, the fatal four way between four of our WWE Superstars resulted in both Jarrod and Kendrick getting the pin fall. Both men entered my locker room demanding an answer as to who the champion would be, and tonight I have that answer.
The WWE fans cheer.
Stephanie: I talked it over with my father Vince. McMahon, and we both discusses it with the WWE board of directors and we all came up with one simple conclusion…
Both Kendrick and Jarrod stare. The intensity in the air shows on their faces.
Stephanie: Since technically the fatal four way contest resulted in a draw, and the WWE rules and regulations clearly state that in the result of a draw count out and or disqualification, the title remains with the champion,…Jarrod Davis will retain his title…
Jarrod screams in joy with the audience. Kendrick pushes Jarrod out of the way and heads backstage. Stephanie smiles with Jarrod as he enjoys his moment. Kendrick begins to speak from the top of the ramp.
Kendrick: Hey…HEY!! Stephanie, I just want to thank you and the rest of the McMahon family, for keeping me from looking like that idiot in the ring. Obviously you saw the real talent in The Brian Kendrick. Obviously you saw the Intercontinental Champion that I am soon going to become so Jarrod, enjoy this moment. I’m moving on to bigger and better things….
Kendrick finishes walking backstage as we cut to commercial with Jarrod holding his title tight.

After Taz and Donal McQuillan's match, WWE cameras are heading backstage to an interview with WWE Superstar Brandovirus, who will team up later tonight with 2 other man in what will be a 6-man tag team match.
Todd Grisham: Ladies and gentleman, I am Todd Grisham alongside with WWE Superstar Brandovirus. Brandovirus, this night, you and your two partners are facing 3 other man. One of them is The Roy, the man who defeated you at Backlash. What are your thoughts on this match? Do you think you will be the man with the last laugh tonight?
Brandovirus looks furious, as he now looks to Todd Grisham, Tyler Black comes from behind and attacks him.
Tyler Black: I will make sure you don't make it to the match!
Tyler starts to fight Brandovirus backstage. They go out of the arena, and Tyler Black grabs a trash can. He is about to hit Brandovirus in the head with it, but Brandovirus defends himself with a low blow. He now grabs up Tyler. Brandovirus is going for The InFeCtEd, but Tyler goes down and pushes him to the wall. Brandovirus grabs a steel pipe which is on the floor. He is about to hit Tyler Black in the head, but he moves out of the way and instead breaks a window. He turns around, dropkick by Tyler Black. He now grabs a steel chair. Oh my god, what a chairshot in the head to Brandovirus!, but somehow he is still up. Another chairshot! He is on his knees, and a last chairshot on the back of Brandovirus.
Tyler Black: That'll show you.
JR: Ladies and gentlemen, WWE's new Superstar Tyler Black has just attacked Brandovirus!
King: That was brutal, JR.
JR: It sure was. I don't think he will be able to compete in tonight's match.

Mark Johnson vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan
“Hollywood” Hulk Hogan comes out to the ring preparing to make his WWE debut. The fans give some mixed reaction to the legend of wrestling. He walks down the ramp slapping hands with some of the fans, and then he gets in the ring and poses for the crowd. His music dies down as he stretches against the ropes.
Johnson quickly begins to descend the ramp, his eyes still focused upon Hogan, not once taking them off of him. Johnson quickly jogs up the steps and climbs into the ring. A blinding spotlight shines down upon him as he sprints to the corner. He stands on the middle ropes, looking out into the crowd around him. He then points to himself, proclaiming to them that he is here for victory... He quickly hops down, the lights returning to normal as his music fades into the distance. As Johnson tugs on the ropes, the bell sounds...
"Ding, Ding, Ding!"
Hogan looks at Johnson as if he were no threat. Johnson sees right through this fake act and beckons him on. Hogan inches to the center of the ring, as does Donal. They lock up! Hogan tries his hardest, but Johnsons ends him stumbling backwards and falling flat on his ass. Johnson simply looks down at Hogan, motioning him up. Hogan quickly gets up, frustrated. Hogan charges at him. Johnson spins around him, sweeping his legs out from under him. Hogan quickly gets to his feet, yelling across the ring at Donal. With no look of emotion on his face, Johnson beckons Hogan on, yet again. Both men, as hungry sharks, begin to circle one another. Johnson drills Hogan in the mid-section with a boot. He then nails him in the back of the knee with a swift kick. Johnson backs away, hitting the ropes... Step up Inziguri! Hogan falls motionless to the ground. He pulls Hogan up, whipping him into the ropes. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Hogan squirms on the mat, holding his back. Johnson quickly pulls him up to his feet. He goes behind him, hooking his arms into a full nelson. Johnson lifts him up, slamming Hogan's back down upon his knee. Hogan squirms in pain once more, begging for Johnson to let him be. Donal, relentless as ever, pulls Hogan to his feet. He boots him in the gut, setting him up. He locks his hands around him, pulling him up... The Overdose! Hogan lays motionless on the mat, seeming to be dead. Johnson drops to his knees, laying over him for the cover...
"1…………….2………………..3!"
Lillian: Here is your winner... Mark Johnson!
Lillian: Here is your winner... Mark Johnson!
Johnson gets back up, raising his arms and slapping his hands together, showing that Hogan was no match for him. He gets on the turnbuckle and taunts the crowd, moving his hands across his waist, signaling that he’s coming for the World Championship.

"Insane" Shane Whelan, Brandovirus & Raven

The Roy, Matt Sydal & Tyler Black
vs.
The Roy, Matt Sydal & Tyler Black
(6 Man Tag Team Match)
The camera cuts back to the ring from the commercial break to five out of the six men from the main event in the ring. Scott Levy, Shane Whelan, and Brandovirus stand in one corner while Matt Sydal and Tyler Black exchange words with each other in the opposite corner. Just one more competitor to enter the ring and one of the most combustible six-man tag matches in the past year will begin. Tyler Black turns his back to his three opponents and signals to Sydal he wants to begin the match. But suddenly, "Insane" Shane Whelan seizes this opportunity and runs up to Black and hits him with a running forearm attack which ends up sending Sydal through the ropes and out of the ring. The referee tries to push Whelan away but the beatdown on the newcomer has begun.
While Whelan stomps away at Black in the far left corner of the ring, the crowd roars with excitement as The Roy darts down the entrance ramp to the ring without his entrance music. There is no time to spare, the bell has just rung and the referee will have order. The Roy slides into the ring and chases Whelan away from Black. But before he could land a shot on the aggressive new assistant to the McMahon's, Whelan ran to his corner and tagged in his parner, Brandovirus.
The referee helps Black to his feet and asks him if he can continue but the eager, young superstar finds his way around the referee and locks up with Brandovirus in a double-arm tie-up. Black uses all his strength but the mammoth superstar will not move. Brandovirus smiles and invites Black to tie-up again. Although hesitant, Black takes a deep breath and with a scream runs up to the giant and appears to go for a tie-up...BUT NO! He hits him with a hard kick to the mid-section which knocks the wind out of Brandovirus. From there, Black unleashes a series hard knife-edge chops mixed in with a few clubbing haymakers. The crowd takes well to the newcomer's courage and determination and Black uses this momentum to attempt an Irish whip on Brandovirus. However, Brandovirus counters and whips Black who springs back off the ropes and connects with a flying forearm smash, causing the 7-footer to stumble.
Roy and Sydal coach Black constantly screaming for him to stay on the attack but the rookie takes too much time in preparing for his next move. As Black attempts a running cross body, he is caught by Brandovirus in a conventional-slam position. Brandovirus carries Black to his corner and the former World Champion, Scott Levy tags Brando's shoulder. Brandovirus then hoists Black over his head and drops him on Raven's knee for a double team gutbuster. Raven goes for the cover, hooking both legs...
1...2...
But Black is resilient and kicks out. For the next minute or so, Raven carefully picks apart the rookie targeting his mid-section. Scott delivers several kicks and stomps to the gut and lands a powerful running elbow drop on his downed opponent. The Roy and Sydal clap at ringside trying to gain momentum for their teammate. Raven looks over at both men and spreads his arms wide taunting them. He spits in Sydal's direction much to his disliking. Matt Sydal tries to enter the ring to help but the referee runs to the corner and tries to hold him back. Meanwhile, with the referee distracted both Brandovirus and Whelan enter the ring and attack Tyler Black.
The odds could not be stacked any higher on the inexperienced young star. The referee eventually chases Brando and Whelan out of the ring but the damage has been done. Raven has noticed his advantage and starts to play around with his opponent. A hip toss, an armbreaker, and a vertical snap suplex all connect and further punish Black. Several times Black tries to crawl to his corner and tag either Roy or Sydal but he is dragged back to the opposite corner by Levy.
Whelan asks Scott Levy for a tag and receives one. Whelan begins a copyrighted beatdown of his own on the rookie. "The Irish Innovator" mocks his fallen opponent with words such, "Welcome to my show," and "Go back to the minors, kid." But Roy Rowe has seen enough. With the referee's back turned, he charges through the ropes and hits Whelan with a spear. Roy begins to fire punches rapidly at Whelan who covers up and tries to roll out of the ring. Brandovirus enters the ring to help Whelan but Sydal springs off the ropes and hits him with a flying hurracanrana. Tyler Black staggers to his feet and runs to his opponent's corner and hits Raven, sending the former champion into the announce table. Scott Levy may be out-cold.
The referee breaks up Whelan and The Roy but now the playing field has evened. With Sydal and Roy back in their corner, Whelan and Black exchange punches back and forth. Both men run in opposite directions and deliver a double knock out clothesline to each other. Whelan crawls to his corner. Black crawls over to his corner. The crowd is in a frenzy chanting "Shoot-ing Star Press." Both men reach their destination! But no! Raven is still down and Brandovirus still hasn't made it back to the corner since being hit with Sydal's hurracanrana. But Black hits the tag! The Roy is now the legal man! He waits for Whelan.
Whelan is seemingly upset and distraught that his tag team partners haven't made it back to their corner yet. He turns around is hit with an unexpected clothesline from The Roy. Roy spins around and pumps himself up using the crowd to his advantage. Whelan staggers to his feet and blocks a kick from Roy and elbows Roy's knee. Roy almost falls down but maintains his balance and counters Whelan's next attack with an arm drag that propels Whelan near his own corner. By that time, Levy has made it back to the ropes and tags Whelan. The Raven and The Roy are now in the ring together.
The two former world champions and bitter rivals exchange strikes. Roy, however, gets the better of him and locks in a sleeper hold. Meanwhile, a bitter Whelan makes his way down the steel steps screaming at his partner Brandovirus. Whelan seems to say "I'm out of here!" The fans boo and jeer at Whelan as he makes his way back to the entrance ramp, seemingly walking out on the match. Noticing this, Matt Sydal jumps off the apron and chases his Backlash opponent up the ramp. But before Sydal could attack Whelan turns around and hits a strong spinebuster on Sydal on the unpadded ramp.
Raven is fading and The Roy is smiling with vicious intent. Brandovirus holds his head and extends his hand waiting for a tag. Tyler Black does the same in his corner. The camera focuses back to Whelan who is standing over Sydal shaking his head back and forth. Sydal clenches his back and Whelan continues his way backstage. By the time the camera focuses back on Raven and Roy, both men are on their feet with Raven countering the sleeper hold into position for The Raven Effect!
He connects! What a turn of events! But wait, Raven is too weak to cover and crawls back to his corner to tag in Brandovirus. The Roy recovers in a moment and tags in Black. A second later, Brandovirus is tagged in. Both men charge each other! Black hits a high knee! Fired up and ready for revenge, Tyler Black bounces off the ropes and leaps over the giant's neck hitting a leg drop. The cover...
1...2...
No, a last second kickout! The match has almost turned into a tornado tag match. Roy heads over to Raven on the outside of the ring and takes the fight to the crowd with him. Roy won't let up the attack as Raven runs for high ground through the arena. Meanwhile, back in the ring Brandovirus has recovered and hits a big boot on Black seemingly knocking him out. The match must be over!
1...2...
NOOOO! Sydal breaks up the count! Brandovirus lifts Sydal onto his shoulders and tosses him over the ropes. Sydal hits the outside with a loud thud. But behind Brandovirus is Black playing possum on his knees. Brandovirus turns around trying to grab the head of his opponent but Black rolls him up in a small package!!!
1...2...3!!!
DING DING DING!!!
The match is over! The newcomer has beaten the veteran monster, Brandovirus. Sydal lay in pain with EMT's by his side outside the ring and Raven and Roy are gone out of sight. The young Tyler Black has pulled off a huge upset!

The arena is in a frenzy. They know what’s next. As soon as “Headstrong” by Trapt blares over the PA system, the crowd roars. Roy walks down the ramp, but the arrogant look on his face isn’t present. Instead, he wears a proud look. Roy smiles, but not for his own self achievement. For his friend, Johnny Magnum. Roy continues to make his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans, blowing kisses to ladies, being his humorous other side we don’t see often. Roy hustles up the steps and grabs a microphone out of Lillian’s hands. He motions for the crowd to settle down, holding tight to the beer in his right hand.
The Roy:
“Folks as you all know this past Sunday at Backlash… Johnny Magnum was crowned the WWE Champion. Who would have thought? I certainly didn’t think the kid had it in him, but yet again he proved us all wrong and impressed the hell outta me. Which as it seems has been his recent entertainment. Impressing the hell out of the locker room, you fans, and myself. But enough about that, this isn’t about how I am impressed by the kid’s sudden improvement… it’s about the kid himself. So without further ado, please welcome, the NEW WWE Champion… Johnny Magnum!!”
Johnny’s slamming new theme “Becoming the Bull” by Atreyu smashes through the speakers, sending the arena into an even bigger frenzy. Fans are on their feet, signs are held high everyway as the new WWE Champion walks out on stage. His glistening belt worn around his waist. He stands on top of the stage, a wide smile from ear to ear on his face. He looks around at the fans, looks at Roy… then down at the ground. He reaches behind his back and unbuckles his belt and brings it out in front of him, he stares at it before raising it high in the air for the whole arena to see, causing an instant explosion from the fans and the explosion from the fireworks that shot off behind him. Magnum begins to walk down the ramp slapping hands with fans, showing off his new gold. He slides his belt under the ropes and slides in after it. He grabs it and jumps to his feet while raising the belt in the air. His music dies down after a brief celebration. The fans still buzz.
The Roy:
“Man…”
The fans drain Roy’s words.
The Roy:
“Man Johnny… congratu-f’n-lations bro.”
Roy wraps his arms around Johnny. The fans yell at the sign of respect. Roy backs up as does Johnny. Roy brings the mic to his lips.
The Roy:
“Johnny man… I.. I’m not going to lie. I was shocked as much as the world when you beat Raven. But look at you. You’re WWE Champion, man. You’re THE Champion! And man, I couldn’t think of anyone better to throw you a celebration than your best bud in this business, right? I just gotta ask, how does it feel? How does it feel to be World Champion?”
Roy pushes the Mic towards Johnny’s mouth and right as he is about to speak he pulls it away.
The Roy:
“WAIT. Before we get into that, we need to celebrate, right? So bring out the dancers, baby!!”
Exotic music starts blaring throughout the arena. Roy starts dancing to the beat. Dancers start to dance on the stage as well. Johnny is seen laughing in the ring. Minutes pass and the music settles down. Roy turns to Johnny and speaks.
The Roy:
“Congratulations, Magnum. I’m proud of you.”
Roy pats Johnny on the shoulder and runs his eyes over the gold, then looks up at Magnum and smirks. Johnny smiles right on back at him. Roy exits the ring and drops the mic on the edge of the apron while saying “It’s all your’s…”. The Roy gets to the top of the stage and throws his arms around two of the dancer’s shoulders and walks back stage. Johnny walks over and scoops up the microphone. He slings the belt over his shoulder and brings the Mic to his lips.
Johnny Magnum:
“Well. I don’t exactly… I didn’t exactly plan a speech. I’m not one who likes to do that sort of thing. But…well… WE DID IT!!!”
The fans erupt. Johnny continues.
Johnny Magnum:
“It’s always been my dream. To be here. To be champion of the world. I knew it would be a challenge, but I climbed that mountain and now I stand before you as a World Champion. As YOUR World Champion! I’m living, breathing proof that with enough hard work. With enough dedications. Dreams DO come true. But, the dream isn’t over yet. In fact, it has just started my friends. You see, in the back there is a pound full of hungry, blood-thirsty animals wanting a piece of me… wanting, my belt. The list is endless. And that’s the rush of being champion. That’s what from the second the ref’s hand hit three the thought that ran through my mind. And it gave me a rush. Not only was my dream realized, but now… I AM the main event. I AM the main guy in this business. I AM the guy who people will be thinking about… wishing they could face, wishing they could earn a shot at. And that… to me, is awesome. And to all of you haters, to all the people who have doubted me. TAKE A LOOK AT ME NOW! LET REALITY SINK IN THAT JOHNNY MAGNUM IS THE NEW WORLD CHAM-…”
As Johnny raises the belt, he is interrupted by a familiar theme. The theme of Matt Sydal. Johnny turns his head quickly to see another one of his best friends coming down the ramp. He raises his eyebrow at Sydal who is walking up the steps. Matt opens his arms and wraps Johnny in a hug. He raises his arm as his music dies. He politely asks him for the mic, and Magnum gives it to him.
Matt Sydal:
“Wow. Johnny Magnum. The World Champion. As Roy said, who would have thought. Haha. But let’s get serious Johnny. Do you honestly think you’ll be able to keep it up? Do you honestly think you’ll be able to retain that title night in and night out? What makes you so sure you are even championship material, Johnny? So what? You won a title… Maybe you just had your lucky night. Maybe Raven just had is unlucky night. Why don’t you prove you’re championship material? Why don’t you put that title on the line… AGAINST ME!!!”
Johnny looks at Sydal and sticks his hand out for the mic. Sydal gives it to him. Johnny begins walking around the ring, a smirk on his face.
Johnny Magnum:
“Oh you. I knew someone would say that. I KNEW someone would tell me I had a lucky night or Raven had an unlucky night. Well Sydal, I will politely say… screw you. See, it doesn’t matter what you think. It doesn’t matter what your theories are… all that matters is I am here and I am here as your WWE Champion!!!”
Johnny turns his back on Sydal and raises his belt for the fans to see. He brings the Mic to his lips and turns around, slowly.
Johnny Magnum:
“So-…”
BAM! Johnny is hit with a hard right hand, delivered by Matt. Matt looks at his knuckles and pulls off the bras knuckles on them. He gets down to eye level with Johnny and spits in his face. The Roy quickly jumps in Sydal's face, screaming at him. Sydal goes for a powerful right hand to knock The Roy out as well. However without his back turned, The Roy is able to duck behind Sydal, and smash his beer bottle over the back of Sydal's head. The Roy signals for medics to come quickly, and helps them carry Magnum out on a stretcher with blood dripping from where the knucks had taken out a chunk of flesh.
